Install the pin you removed from the OEM ladder sight. Place the mount over the special flange nut & align the hole in the side of the receiver where the pin was removed with the side hole in the mount. Keep the smooth edges toward the front & rear. Slide the special flange nut into the undercut at the front of the sight where the spring was. The spring may require you to remove a screw that holds it in place. Remove the flip up sight, then the spring by sliding it forward and lifting it out. Don’t lose this pin as it will be used to install the S&K mount. Push the pin out at the rear of the rear flip sight.
